Comments: A crib quilt. A replica of a flag is in the center, with thirteen red and white stripes and thirteen white stars upon a faded blue ground. This may be a centennial piece because of the early flag motif. The flag motif is surrounded by a pattern of red blocks forming diagonal steps alternating with faded blue blocks, accented with small white blocks that also form diagonals. The outer edges have diamond shaped units of red and blue. The outer edge is bounded with a printed textile of red with blue and red lines.
