Comments: Large bed cover embroidered with opera scenes alternating with lace panels. Six 8’ x 1’ units of yellow satin-faced silk – joined in center – with labeled opera scenes spaced by lyres, irises, bows, leaves, and scrollwork; the scenes are rendered realistically. The tape lace panels and flounce are attached to blue satin-faced silk and also feature lyres, irises, and bows.
